CANCELLED (To be rescheduled) Being an Ethical Therapist Without Terror

  • Residence Inn by Marriott 5230 Westview Drive Frederick, MD, 21703 United States (map)

Come join us in what will prove to be one of the most engaging, thought provoking, and entertaining ethics workshops you've attended. Being engaged in the true spirit of ethics is not just checking off the boxes.  In fact, ethical considerations are at the heart of working with clients, especially when complications arise.  In this training, we will reference the idea of ethical intelligence* in order to provide a change of mindset when engaging with clients.

This 6 credit in person course is developed to help social work and counseling professionals learn how to better integrate ethical and legal considerations into their practices. We will work with an updated ethical and caring mindset that will help make being a therapist less stressful when ethical dilemmas arise.          *As written by Kenneth S. Pope and Melba Vasquez

(Target Audience: Social Workers and Counselors – Content Level: Intermediate)
